Before your treatment starts, we will show you computer images that enable you to see how your smile will be transformed. We don’t even take impressions. We take scans and photos and these are sent to specialised laboratories half way round the world. This helps to plan your treatment with real accuracy.
Once your aligners arrive with us , we will ask you to come in so that can in some cases create some tiny space to help align the teeth and put some white, specially shaped button like attachments on them so that we can move teeth correctly and with the right forces, the aligners are then fitted and we give you a couple of sets to take home with full instructions. The virtually invisible aligners can, in many cases, be changed every week as your teeth move into position but we will advise you on this.
We will discuss your teeth-straightening goals and examine your smile. We will scan your teeth with state of the art iTero scanner, that will provide a simulation of how your smile will look once the treatment is completed. If you wish to go ahead with Invisalign treatment, we will book you in for a full dental examination including x-rays. This helps us to make sure that you are dentally fit for the treatment to start.

Yes!! That is one of the benefits of Invisalign treatment over traditional orthodontics; it is suitable from 16 onwards.
Invisalign is by far more comfortable than traditional fixed braces. Once you’ve settled into wearing them, it’s easy to forget you are wearing them! There are no metal wires or bands which are more visible and can sometimes irritate your mouth. It’s also easier to keep your teeth clean too. You simply take them out to eat and put them in afterwards.
We recommend that you wear your aligners throughout day and night, except when eating and brushing teeth.
Aligners are changed on a weekly basis; most patients get a new set of aligners to change every week.
We would like to see you every 4-6 weeks during treatment. Regular monitoring helps to make sure that your treatment is progressing smoothly.
No!! Unlike traditional braces, there is no restriction on what you can eat. Just take out your aligners at meal time and enjoy any food that you desire.
